The hospital is a health service institution for the community that is influenced by the development of health science, technological advances, and the socio-economic life of the community. In Indonesia, every year the hospital always experiences an increase in the number of hospitals. Along with the development of hospitals, it is necessary to have complete facilities and resources to support services to the community. However, in reality, currently there are hospital facilities and resources that are not used optimally, so that hospital management can become inefficient. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the level of efficiency of hospital management in Indonesia based on the number of inpatients, outpatients and emergency room patients; analyze the relationship between resource efficiency on facility management and safety management in hospitals in Indonesia. This study used a population of hospitals throughout Indonesia as many as 2813 hospitals. The results of the study show that the description of the level of efficiency of hospital management in Indonesia has an influence on facility management as seen from the availability of patient, outpatient and emergency patients. Meanwhile, safety management has an influence on the efficiency of outpatient and emergency patient availability. This shows that of all hospitals in Indonesia, facility management is a variable that is important to note so that all patients who go to the hospital get facilities that match the expectations of the patients. Apart from that, it can also improve safety for patients if the facilities owned are also complete.
